Death Bemoans Her

It's the quarterly meeting of the Gazillionaire Girls Group, an exclusive club whose membership is comprised of successful women - all of whom made it big without relying upon the other gender. The hostess for this unique gathering is Bertha Brothert, the entertainment guru whose upscale line of products appeals to the nouveau riche.
Brothert's yacht, "The Perfection," is the scene of the meeting and a special guest is present to both entertain the Group's members and to predict their futures. Famed fortuneteller, Madame Magda, pulls out her crystal ball and tells the assembled clique of distinguished daughters of destiny that many good things await them.

Suddenly, though, a shocked expression crosses the mystic's face as she shudders in horror. The crystal ball, she proclaims, is emphatic in predicting that someone will soon die. The next morning, true to her words, the body of one of the women is found floating nearby the yacht. After investigating the incident, police quickly determine that evidence points toward homicide. Someone's career has been suddenly and permanently halted by a killer.

Death in them there Hills

This special 1880s murder mystery takes place near the Grand Canyon where prospector and gold mine owner "Dusty" Jones is being honored by the residents of Cactus Gulch. Jones had arrived in town five years before, flat broke and relying upon the generosity of local residents to help him get by. Today, he is the sole owner of the TAqIlA mine (He named it after his favorite drink, but Dusty never could spell).

Key citizens of Cactus Gulch have assembled to honor Dusty. Each one rises to say a few words about him and his contributions to the community. Then, it's Dusty's turn. After speaking his mind, Dusty raises a glass of Gila Gold, his favorite brand of tequila. He sits down and, a few minutes later, slumps over in his chair - dead.

The marshal then takes charge of the investigation as the suspects are interrogated. Additional clues and key information are revealed as everyone is asked to figure out who killed Dusty Jones

The Disappearing Presents Kids Mystery

The people of Spruce Valley were nervous. Two days of heavy snow had kept everybody inside their houses, as well as cutting off the town from the outside world. Nobody wanted a third snow day to spoil preparations for the Christmas celebration. Happily, the weather broke early on Christmas Eve morning, and snowplows began clearing the town's streets even though the roads into and out of town were still clogged with snow.

People went about their business. There was much to catch up on! The festivities were to take place in the town square with its huge Christmas tree. Every year, Hamley-Schwarz, the largest toy shop in town, wraps 100 presents and arranges them beneath the tree. After carols and Christmas cookies, the much-loved Mayor Bailey, dresses as Santa and arrives on a sleigh, then hands out the presents to the town's children.

By six o'clock everything was ready, and a soft snowfall welcomed the townsfolk to the beautifully decorated square. The town clock chimed six times, and the music began.

But behind the scenes is panic. Christine Cringle, the person in charge of the presents, has discovered that all of the presents have vanished! Only a small group of people knows about the theft, and it’s hoped that the case can be solved without having to cancel everything.

Everybody is a suspect, and Christine has asked a group of trustworthy citizens to quietly investigate the incident. Mayor Bailey is due to arrive at 7:30 and nobody wants to let him down.

The Pilfered Pooch Kids Mystery

Every year the small town of Tadpole Grove grinds to a halt for the Tadpole Grove Dog Show. Hopeful hounds from miles around gather in the town hall to be judged on their appearance, behavior, training and friendliness. It's the biggest event in town and everybody looks forward to it.

For the last four years, the show’s Grand Champion has been Cocoa, a beautiful chocolate Labrador retriever. Unfortunately this means that the number of visitors is dwindling, and the other contestants are starting to grumble. Rumors are spreading that the whole show is a fix.

This year, preparations were underway for the big show. The hall was decorated and ready, but very few tickets had been sold. Then, the night before the big event, phones started to ring, and news quickly spread that Cocoa had been kidnapped! A strange note was found early the next morning that said only: "Not this time."

Mystery Manor Girls Mystery

8 girls are suspects - up to 20 can play

As the clock struck midnight, early this morning, an explosion woke the people staying in Mystery Manor. Moments later came a horrible scream, and everybody ran to the main ballroom where they saw Minerva (everyone calls her Minnie) Maxson, illuminated by a shaft of moonlight, completely frozen in fear.

A big hole was discovered in the glass roof of the huge conservatory with its many large trees and plants. Several windows were also broken. Small droplets of blood led into the yard.

Minnie's 13th birthday party should have been the highlight of her year. Her parents had booked Mystery Manor on this night before the big birthday dance. As a present, her Aunt Teresa had paid for the event and was there to chaperone the party. Magician Penny Vanish, owner of the Manor and daughter of the late Merlin Vanish, was also scheduled to give a special performance at the big birthday dance.

Minnie remained silent, her eyes seemingly fixed open. Nobody was able to attract her attention.

The big birthday dance is due to take place tonight, but it cannot possibly go ahead until the mystery is solved. There are rumors of arguments among the guests. Some say the adults are hiding more than a few secrets.

What happened to Minnie? Somebody knows. How is it linked to the incident in the conservatory? Minnie's parents have called in a team of investigators. Moments after their arrival, Penny revealed that she had seen a girl in the yard, just moments after the explosion. A girl covered in scratches . .
